Below are some examples of the training materials used for training the NEETs in performing hydroponic work tasks. They are the product of inclusion of the NEETs in the entire proces from initial prototype to finished materials. All these examples of materials are produced by the participating NEETs themselves.
An overview of the different kinds of microgreens grown in the hydroponic facilities. Used as a training guide on identifying the various microgreens and how many days of growth in the facility until ready for harvest.

This was the first version of training guides selected because of the simplicity of the working task. It follows the principles of step by step instructions in performance of the work task using large illustrative photos and simple text. (Refer to the inclusion tools learning module for more information).
( Click to open the PDF file )Training guide for filling the water reservoir of the hydroponic facility (written in Danish). The was also among the first versions of training guides. Following the same principles as mentioned above. It was a test of training more complex and demanding work tasks, because it is essential to be performed correctly otherwise it can cause damages. One of the important experiences of the evaluation was that it was decided that this task should always be done as a team of at least to in order to minimize the risks.

These are the final format of training guides, which through testing and evaluation, proved to be most useful as training tools for the NEETs and the trainers. Rather than having one long guide it worked better to split it up in three parts: preparation, execution, and finishing. That way it was easier to handle for all parties. It was used in both printed and digital (on smartphone) format.
